Our class will be going to see the play “Charlotte’s Web” at he the Murray Playhouse in the Park on Monday, March 24th. A permission slip will be coming home next week. The cost will be $5 for your child.

We had only 2 students’ help earn money for ST. JUDES. The both of them together earned over $200!  Way to go Derryauna and Tristan!!

From now on please sign your child’s test and return them so I know you have seen them. About 5 students returned them with notes attached from parents saying they worked with their child on the correct answers. Those students got 10 extra points towards their grade. WAY      TO GO PARENTS!!!

Valentine Party

I want to say thank you so much Mr. Triplett for donating the frozen custard for our Valentine Day Ice Cream Social. Some of the parents sent in their child’s favorite topping and shared with those who forgot their topping. So thank you to those who did!

I have been in need of tissue for the classroom and I had four parents send in tissues. Thank you so much, hopefully that will help us to the end of the school year. I also want to give big thank you to the parents who have sent in pencils, erasers, stickers and other needed items for the school year.

I need and am hoping that some parents will offer to help with Spring Swing and send in items for our basket. The theme for our basket this year is “Everything Garden” Please help out if you can! Remember all the money goes back into our school.

I gave another pretest for spelling to see what your child has retained in the last 18 weeks of school. After evaluating their tests I will be giving your child new words where I see they need to review or go on.
Please send your child with a coat. Not a jacket or a pull over. We will go out every day unless it is below 32 degrees or it is wet outside
